Week 17

Moroni 7:29- "Have miracles ceased? Behold I say unto you, Nay." We have seen so many miracles this week. The Lord is good, the work is working, and we have been blessed in abundance.

Our lessons with Luisa have been going really well! She's eager to learn and is always asking for more chapters she can read from the Book of Mormon. She couldn't come to church but has met our Bishop and a lot of ward members so it's just a matter of time before she makes her first covenant with God.

We met many amazing people this week but two to note are the sisters Cricket and Scarlett. We ran into them at a mall and they said they've been looking for a church to be baptized into. We talked for a while, asked if we could help them prepare for their baptism, and they said yes! Both came to church and absolutely loved it. The members took them in so much and helped them feel at home. We're hoping to put them on date this week!! Keep them in your prayers!

We played pickleball bright and early this morning with President and our zone. It was so fun! There is nothing more amazing than being outside while the sun is coming up and the world is still. I'm a big fan.

I always have a hard time choosing which spiritual thought I want to share because every week I learn and love new things. Alma 29:9 has been my motto for the past few days and it says, "I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy." This truly is and has been my joy. I'm grateful for the trust God has in us as insufficient servants to be instruments in bringing his children home. I glory in it!

Our ward mission leader was telling us about upcoming events and mentioned the trunk or treat... you can never start celebrating Halloween too early. Everyone soak up Fall in Utah for me!!!
