Week 41
Hi everyone!! How do I even begin. This week was challenging. When I said my headaches were better I was trying to convince myself haha. They're really not great and it seems like they've gotten much worse these past few weeks. I've had a few doctors appointments and we haven't been able to find the problem. I've started feeling nauseous and had some serious neck pain which isn't too fun! But alas the work continues!
I've learned so much from this crazy week. I've learned what promptings of the spirit look and feel like, and how He speaks to me! I've learned to place my full trust in Heavenly Father and His perfect and infinite plan. I've learned of the power of prayer. And I've learned that mortality really does work!
We had zone conference this week and a major theme was Ether 12:27. I bore my testimony at the end about how I didn't realize how much God would show me my weakness when I came out on my mission. I have been truly humbled as I've witnessed His grace and mercy in my life. Yes I've had different challenges with my health, but through it all, Jesus Christ has been there. He has shown that His grace is sufficient for me. He is the master Healer, and I know He can heal me and each of you.
Elder Soares gave a talk called "Confide in God Unwaveringly" that I've loved this week! He said, "Faith is the source of living with divine purpose and eternal perspective. Faith is a practical principle that inspires diligence. It is a vital, living force manifest in our positive attitude and desire to willingly do everything that God and Jesus Christ ask of us. It takes us to our knees to implore the Lord for guidance and to arise and act with confidence to achieve things consistent with His will." God will show us bits and pieces of His plan so that we develop faith and unwavering trust in Him. I'm so grateful for my knowledge of His Plan of Salvation! I know His plan for me is a lot better than what I think it should look like haha. I'm grateful for my Savior always and for each of you.
